Greetings booklovers and friends!! It is safe, simple, and painless to make a purchase
on this site. If you are buying one of my books, you will be directed to my storefront
on Lulu.com, a reliable independent publishing site. If you are buying any other
items, you simply hit the Buy Now button, provided by the PayPal People, and they
take care of your secure financial transaction. The only data I will have is your
address, to send you the item!! You do, of course, need a PayPal account, but they
are very easy to get, and if you buy a lot on the web, you probably want one

I will ship your order within 5 business days. (Though likely, I will be so pleased,
you will get it sooner.) I will package and ship your order with the utmost care. (I
will walk it down to the postoffice myself!) If I see you on the way, just stop me and
we can save on shipping!  I will, on occasion, reuse interesting materials around my
house for shipping, as I can't bear to throw beautiful useful things away. Whenever I
order a proof copy from Lulu, for example, the foamy liner is perfect to ship your
item in! And have you ever ordered from Sheet Music Plus? Their mailers are stiff
and sturdy and bombproof!! How could I throw those away? And every year, my
brother mails me a calendar for my birthday, with pictures of the desert, because he
knows that, living in the Northwest, I need those to survive... Well, you are lucky if
your book comes in the box they use to ship those.=)

If you are buying one of my published books on Lulu.com, your transaction, once
again, is secure. Lulu is an independent publishing site, and like Amazon, is in the
business of selling books! Unlike Amazon, it is only books, which has a lovely feeling
for me. Like Amazon, you do need to start an account with Lulu to buy there, but
this does not cost you anything, nor cost you barely any time! And then, a whole

My Return Policy...
I had to think this one through a bit...Now, if I had sold you an accordion, and the
bellows didn't work, you would have good reason to return the beast. (I am thinking
of this for the specific reason that I just bought an accordion... And I am not sure the
bellows work!) But art is a different thing, isn't it? Art is always a risk. I believe you
always need to take a chance on art. You always find something, learn something
new. And you may discover something wonderful that no one else has found yet!! I
have found most of my life's inspiration in art. Don't worry what the experts
say! Don't wait for them to say it! Or you will miss a lot of good art! Quite
realistically, not every artist can be famous, can be covered in the media that way.
But I think sometimes, people are afraid of art, wait for a formally rendered opinion
on art, before they dare to hold one themselves. One time, for example, on a lark, (I
am always trying new things), I was playing my accordion at the Pike Place Market,
and had some of my little books out, when a lady walking by said this... I wish I
knew if she was any good or not, or I would buy one! But she didn't stop to look! Didn't
stop to decide for herself! That's why I say, just follow your heart!!

By your already good judgement, you have found this site, and perused some of  the
writings posted here... My fiction samples, my special pages, my blogs... Or, read
some of my earlier published work or blogs... And you like the descriptions of my
books!  So, unless my items arrive damaged in some way, I'm afraid I cannot allow
returns, for a business effort this small. (They could so easily be damaged just
sending them back!) But I think you will be pleased with my work. I think you'll
have no regrets! I have taken the same care, in the making of my work, that I have
in the making of these web pages. And, I have read books all my life!  I write the
kind of work I would want to read! I thank you for your visit to this site and hope
