| A Writer's Life... If you are a writer, you know about the lit journals. They are edited and published by many universities, and occasionally, other writers organizations around the world. They are a wonderful way for writers to start to get some feedback, some recognition, some eyes on their work. It is competitive, getting your work in these, and if you have, generally, that is its own reward. I have, remaining on my shelves, some new copies of journals my stories were once published in. And, as they are getting older now, (not in quality, but in years), I shall call them vintage jounals. Signed by the author, yours truly, me! These lit journals are available now: Clinton St. Quarterly, 1988 Carolina Quarterly, 2003 Wisconsin Review, 2003 Nimrod Journal, 2005 And that's all she wrote. In the journals anyway. For now. Ah! But you never know. Stay tuned!! . |
